Writing at Home
Research shows that the most confident writers
are those who write at home. We want to encourage our learners to be writing at
home in real life situations. To do this we need your help. We will be
asking some parents to come to
assembly with their children to inspire the other
children about how they have been using writing purposefully at home, eg
writing letters, lists, thank you notes, invitations (you will have your own
ideas). If you are able to pop in to assembly and share for a minute
or two with your child what he or she has done at home, it will encourage the
whole school. Please let us know.

Scholarship/Sponsorship
Due to the wonderful support of a number of people in the community whose children do not attend the school, the Board of Trustees, the Board of Proprietors and members of the Snells Beach Baptist Church, we are delighted to report that we have a number of children sponsored or part sponsored, and that there is now more funding available. Thank you to those generous individuals and groups. Please spread the news that scholarships and part sponsorships are available at MCS.
