Bugs needs a new home
Free: Loveable Lop Eared Rabbit “Bugs”.
Needs more love and cuddles than what she is currently getting. Bugs is an adorable grey and white Lop Ear.  She is used to being cuddled, and nails clipped.  We have had her from a baby and is about 4yrs old (from memory).
We would prefer a home with no dogs, and someone to really love and cuddle her.  We are happy to do a trial period with her, but insist if it doesn’t work out, she be returned to us.

EASTER-ART 2014
Graham Braddock and Selected Artists at the SilverdaleCentre,April 19 -21

Permission has just been granted by the Silverdale Centre owners for 21 artists topaint and drawin public over Easter weekend. They will produceathemedArt Exhibitionthat reveals something of God’s longing for personal relationship with people. The paintings will be in outdoorpublic walkways. A major feature will be a 4 metre x 3 metre chalk painting created by Graham Braddock on the pavement in front of the Hollywood Bakery.

Significance and Purpose
2014 celebrates 200 years since Samuel Marsden brought the message of Christ and Easter to the Maori people of NZ. The subsequent spread of Christian influence brought to an end inter-tribal warfare and paved the way for the Treaty of Waitangi.
It is important for our community to remember and to be reminded that Easter commemorates the Christian roots upon which our society was founded.

The Main Painting
‘Road to the Cross’ is Graham Braddock’s most successful painting thus far. It combines photo realism with a wealth of symbolism that captures people’s imagination. It has no denominational bias. It will generate considerable interest equally amongst secular and Christian orientated viewers, over the 3 days that it takes to complete.

Additional Paintings
20 artists, ranging from high school students to experienced adult painters will also paint on free standing 1200 x 900mm vertical panels during the event. Their styles, subjects, and experience, though very diverse, will use legible captions to present a pre-determined, sequenced, story that expresses God’s longing for relationship with every person.
·         Paintings will be executed on site in acrylic paints.
·         Paintings will be bright, bold and (because of time constraints) reasonably loose in style.
·         Subject and style will be entirely according each artist’s choice.
·         Representational or abstract painting styles will work equally well.

Public exposure and Media Coverage
The exhibition will have novelty value. The sight of a number of (mostly local) artists producing large paintings will rouse interest within the local community and gain good media coverage. Easter is a significant time to raise the profile of local Christian based, service groups and churches within our district. A give-away catalogue will have the details of such groups. There will be many opportunities to engage conversation with people.
