Veges
and Pots
Please send veges and large stock pots to school on Wednesday for our
soup making extravaganza.
Upcoming enrolments
If you have a child who will turn 5 this year or know of any
other children who will be joining us at Mahurangi Christian School this year
could you please collect and complete an enrolment form. June will be delighted to supply you with the
enrolment pack.
It is helpful for planning to have some idea of future roll
numbers. Thanks
Green Day
On Wednesday we will be holding a Green Day. If the weather is
fine we will be going to Snells Beach for the day. If the weather doesn’t
cooperate we will be making and eating pancakes while watching a video on site.
You are warmly invited to join us. Please let June know in the
office if you would like to attend.

Scholarship/Sponsorship
Due to the wonderful support of a number of
people in the community whose children do not attend the school, the Board of
Trustees, the Board of Proprietors and members of the Snells Beach Baptist
Church, we are delighted to report that we have a number of children sponsored
or part sponsored, and that there is now more funding available. Thank you to
those generous individuals and groups. Please spread the news that scholarships and part
sponsorships are available at MCS.
INTERSCHOOL NETBALL
TOURNAMENT – TUESDAY 20 MAY
We are
calling all parents to give a little bit of time to assist with the Netball
Tournament which MCS can use as a fundraiser.
MCS have been
given the opportunity to run the canteen for the tournament day so we need
bakers, sandwich makers, drink dispensers, food sellers and pie warmers on the
day.
If you can
lend a couple of hours on this day then please leave your name with June at
reception so we can organise a task force.
Thanks in
advance, Isabelle.
